DESCRIPTION: Definitive Logic seeks to hire a Sharepoint Developer to support a Department of Defense customer in Richmond, Virginia. The Sharepoint Developer will design, develop and administer a number of web-based tools to include Microsoft SharePoint. - Experience creating interfaces, large scale websites, or applications, to include SharePoint - Ability to apply the methodologies of intuitive interaction design and research to website and product development - Strong ability to work with current team of programmers/developers in designing, developing and deploying mission relevant mobile applications that can concurrently cross deploy most prevalent mobile device operating systems (DROID, Windows Mobile, iPhone/Pad, etc) - Strong working familiarity with most prevalent browsers and supporting codes, plug-ins, and media elements (i.e.: IE, Google, Opera, Firefox, Safari, etc.) - Ability to produce user-interface designs, application logic designs and data-flow diagrams from business and functional requirements * Strong practical ability to utilize the full range of web development tools, i.e.: Adobe CS suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, SharePoint Designer, etc) - Experience in developing a web content management system using any commercial or in-house developed web content management systems - Experience in web application development in using JQuery, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, and RSS Feed * Experience in web application development in JAVA and/or ActionScript - Experience in database design and development in Oracle or Microsoft SQL - Experience in Software development with Microsoft .NET technologies - Experience in software development with OO (Object-Oriented) and SOA - Experience in planning, organizing, designing, developing, coordinating, and maintaining computer accessible information systems for internal and external partners and customers, with a particular focus on electronic publication of client information via the internet, intranet, SharePoint and social networking media to support client missions, goals, and program delivery initiatives - Experience in planning for and providing expert technical advice, assistance, and support through a variety of means, including meetings, presentations, videoconferences, seminars, and end-user training - Experience in providing expert technical advice and assistance to program managers and staff on using Internet and SharePoint applications - Provide expert assistance in developing input and output interfaces to facilitate data entry and information retrieval for information systems in a database/server/report writer environment - Knowledge of Java, ASP, PHP, Action Script, HTML, Captivate, Premiere, Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Connect, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Expressions Web QUALIFICATIONS · Minimum 4 years of relevant experience · BS in Computer Science or Engineering or relatedindustry/professional experience; · Excellent customer interface, communication and organizational skills; · Languages and Tools : Java, ASP, PHP, Action Script, HTML,Captivate, Premiere, Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Connect, SharePointDesigner, Microsoft Expressions Web, JQuery, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, RSS Feeds, .NET technologies, Object Oriented, and SOA · Skilled in database design and development in Oracle or Microsoft SQL · Strong working familiarity with most prevalent browsers and supporting codes, plug-ins, and media elements (i.e.: IE, Google, Opera, Firefox, Safari, etc.) · Demonstrated ability to apply the methodologies of intuitive interaction design and research to website and product development · Strong practical abilityto utilize the full range of web development tools, i.e.: Adobe CS suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, SharePoint Designer, etc) · Skilled in developing a web content management system using any commercial or in-house developed webcontent management systems, · Past experience providing expert technical advice and assistance to program managers and staff |
