Abstract:
An emergency response organization needed a way to register and track people during a disaster evacuation.
Business Challenge:
During an emergency, it is imperative to identify all the individuals that are being evacuated and be able to track and locate them at any point in the process. This is particularly important in cases where families may become separated and need to be reunited.
Partnering closely with our client, Definitive Logic mapped the operational scenario to better understand how a solution would have to fit within the situational environment. We then met extensively with key stakeholders to identify and document requirements, design a solution, and develop that solution using an Rapid Development approach that yielded a working system within six months. This system works within a variety of technical architectures and can be readily implemented at any emergency response level (e.g., federal, state, local).
