Definitive Logic is seeking to bring on an additional Business Development Associate.
-Identify Potential Clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective customer’s business/IT needs.
-Develop Agency Account Plans – ID Key Stakeholders, Key Program Offices, and Programs relevant to DL.
-Establish connection between Federal/Agency priorities and goals, and who in the organization is responsible for those specific business/IT needs.
-Establish call plans for those customers and set up meetings/demos for BD team and keep opportunity pipeline up to date in corporate CRM.
-Maintain details of conversations, opportunity updates, action items, and meetings in corporate CRM related to specific accounts and opportunities.
-Become a subject matter expert on DL business solutions, services, processes & operations, as well as stay up to date on relevant government/industry trends.
-Manage partner relations; work with BD team maintain relationships and constant communication with vendor technology partners.
-Support the creation and maintenance of corporate marketing material.
-Help to create and manage marketing campaigns (email, website, social media) regarding DL solutions and areas of expertise.
-Manage DL social media postings – at least 3 per week on relevant internal updates and or industry related news.
-Bachelors’ Degree (Business Management or Marketing preferred)
-3-5 years Sales/Marketing Experience
-Demonstrated achievement in previous sales/marketing roles
-Ability to multi-task and work in high-pace environment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Support proposals as needed
-Interpersonal skills to build relationships across DL internally as well as vendor technology partners and government prospects
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as corporate CRM.
-Basic understanding of Government Contracting industry with ability to become outward-facing in the future
-Possesses innovative and problem solving skills for understanding changes/trends in the market and how it affects to DL’ business
-Previous B2G sales & B2B sales
-Experience with managing partner relationships
-Proficiency with social media tools
-General understanding of Technology from Vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, Tableau, Salesforce, Appian
-Highly motivated and able to work without constant delegation of job responsibilities
