It highlights over a decade of painstaking efforts to modernize Air Force Civil Engineering and outlines its vision to accelerate this process. The Air Force’s vision goes beyond traditional planning, design, acquisition, delivery, operations and maintenance programs. It is now beginning to directly evaluate facility and infrastructure investment decisions in the context of operational readiness and overall mission performance. Underpinning this vision is the Air Force’s application of ISO 55000 asset management principles.
